The last few days / weeks have been incredibly hectic. We boarded the Kiwi Experience tour bus on the 13th and have been hopping on / off day after day. Mattie, our driver, has kept us quite entertained during the long drives, but I think we are both ready to disembark.
We are currently at the Puh Pub with 85 year old Les. It's a hostel strictly used by the Kiwi experience and I must say it's one of the coolest places I've ever been to. The ceiling is covered in hats from previous costume parties and the walls have polaroids dating back 18 years of Kiwi Experience travellers like ourselves. Tonight we are looking forward to a steak dinner and a costume party to follow the tradition. Our next destination is Franz Josef for a glacier hike and a kayak trip on Mirror Lake. We are there two days, so there is a possibility that we will have a chance to post more pictures, videos, and a proper blog. Yes...we have both acquired certain Kiwi words and have completely mixed accents now! A'right bro! Sweet as... we'll catch up for a chat later then, eh mate?
