We made it!

We made it to Fiji! It's only about lunch time here and we've already walked the beach, had pizza, played volleyball, re-organized our bags, and are officially relaxed. I am still in la la land, but I am happy about the heat. The hostel we are staying in is absolutely perfect for our first nights accommodations. The owners are native villagers from another island that decided to go into business together. They are only about Andy's and my age, but they have their act together. All the other hostelers in the area seem to really enjoy hanging out here with us at Bamboo.
At the moment, Andrew is playing volleyball and sweating like crazy. It's only about 90 degrees and overcast at the moment. I am laying in a 9 bed room taking care of business. I promised myself I'd let everyone know we made it before I started indulging in a book or shell collecting. It's really weird how easy it is to just shut down though. Not to be gross, but Andrew and I haven't even showered yet today. There really just doesn't seem to be any point since everyone is hot and sticky. I promise I will get around to showering later so as not to give Americans another stereotype as being smelly.
Tonight we are relaxing with some native Fijians, drinking some Kava (native liquor), and enjoying the island breeze. Tomorrow we are off to the Blue Lagoon followed by 5 more days of island hoping. Write to you next week sometime!
